Fasting

Fasting is one of the most ancient & beneficial healing methods, that we forgot about. It is free, it is simple and anyone can do it. When our bodily temple is clean, the mind is clear, we need less sleep, we find more joy and appreciation and when we do drink something, it tastes much better and we have much more gratitude. Doing dry fasting for min. 24 hours have so many benefits. It is not as hard as one thinks. It is all about making decisions, that for those few hours of my life, I will not ingest anything, and I will spend my time for other things. A golden opportunity to meditate and finish some projects, heal some old patterns related to food, perhaps...as emotional patterns are often closely connected to food patterns... such as emotional or stress eating & drinking. One may go through a few detox symptoms first time of dry fasting, even second time, but once that is passed, once have more energy and clarity and hunger disappears. Also remember that when animals and small kids feel ill., they do not want to eat. They instinctively know that when we do not eat, the digestive system can rest and the body has more energy to heal any infection and detox.
This body is amazing and can learn and do anything ~ from ingesting heavy junk foods every day and potentially get sick from it, to living on very light nourishment and juices. It is about teaching the body, deprogramming and doing what our soul calls us to do. Mind over matter!
Having a well - functioning vehicle also helps our spiritual journey.
Have you ever thought about how many hours you spend cooking, cleaning the dishes and eating every day?
How many hours and how much money and time for shopping?
